Thank you so much for sharing this story. I had a feeling it was Maya but the name was different then you shared the nickname !! What courage that teacher instilled in her through her love and words. Definitely a Bregdan woman!!! That's what I love about your books don't ever stop writing....can't wait for your next adventure!
Yes, thank you for your books. I live in an ideologically isolated area and have few friends. An open is a rarity here so Carie and Rose and the other cast of characters have become my best friends. I’m even learning about homeopathic medicine and growing my own plants. I’m 80 yo and haven’t much time left in the world for which I am grateful about. Am on your # 21 and have # 22 waiting. This is my second reading of the series. They are all marked up and ear tagged! Thanks again!
Hi Lynn. Thank you so much for writing! I wish I lived close by so we could be friends - what great conversations we would have. :) I love that you're growing your own plants for homeopathy. Writing these books has taught me so much! I'll keep the books coming, so that you can hang out with your best friends.
Am just finishing #22. Goofy things zip through my mind occasionally….
Wouldn’t there be dogs on the plantation that would bark at intruders? And barn cats? Also, Annie can’t produce all of that food, clean that huge house, and do everybody’s laundry.. The magic of fiction!🤷♀️🥰🤪
Can you imagine how much of the book it would have to entail to cover all the chores necessary? :) The magic of fiction, indeed! LOL! Dogs? Cats? I may have to introduce them... I asked my best-buddy, Bogey, what he thought. He barked his agreement with you!

Thanks Judy! I'll never stop writing - you can trust that. What in the world would I do with all my time and ideas. :)
