Look How You've Made A Difference!
I want you to meet 2 of the women this Substack publication has helped. I had so much fun yesterday going into KIVA and choosing a group of women to help - all because some of you have been able to become Paid Subscribers.
Here’s the thing though… it takes ALL of you - paid and Free subscribers to create the community of Bregdan Women that makes this possible.
KIVA is a microloan organization that empowers people all over the world to create businesses, get an education, etc. Over the years, we’ve helped almost 300 women, but I Am A Bregdan Woman is throwing that into overdrive! I love KIVA so much because it loans money and helps women succeed. The women pay back the loan - meaning we can put it back into the cycle by giving it to another woman. It never goes away!
Meet the two newest recipients:
# 1 -
Maria Angelita from El Salvador
María didn’t have the opportunity to study. She is married and of her five children, one still depends on her, which is the reason why she continues working to support her family.
María works rearing cattle and making dairy from the milk she gets from her animals. She started this work due to the wish to succeed, and she performs it in her house. She works in different intervals throughout the day and has always worked in this trade, which represents her main source of income.
She will use the loan to buy 8 quintals of feed for her cattle. Her goal is to have a good output and ensure proper development of her animals.
María’s dream is to always have incomes from her work and be healthy to continue working and giving stability to her family.
# 2
Ezgi from Turkey
Ezgi is a 26-year-old university graduate who supports her family by selling cosmetic products from her home. Through the income she earns, she is able to meet her own needs while also contributing to her family’s household expenses.
Her efforts reflect her determination to build financial independence and support her loved ones.
With the support she hopes to receive through Kiva, Ezgi plans to purchase additional cosmetic products. This support will help her reach more customers, increase her sales, and strengthen her income.

I actually helped fund 5 women’s loans - I’ll tell you about the other ones in the upcoming letters. This is a special letter to bring attention to what YOU are helping make possible!
Please don’t think this is a request for you to become a Paid Subscriber. I know there are many that simply can’t. I’m giving you EVERYTHING anyway.
But… if you can…
I cheer every time I see a paid subscription come through. Seriously… I cheer every time I receive notice of a new paid subscriber. At least once a day I do a happy dance in my office!
Why do I get so excited? Because I need your help in reaching millions of women around the globe. My goal is at least 5 Million women… women in EVERY country - well every country that has internet.
It takes a lot of money to reach all these women through emails, social media, and advertising. I give as much as I can from my income as an author, but I need other Bregdan Women to step up and help - just $5 a month will make a huge difference.
I never want a woman to not be able to receive everything I create because of money!
But that’s not all. 15% of the money will go toward supporting women owned businesses around the world through KIVA or another microloan company. I’ve been supporting women through this organization for years - with your help, we can help even more. I’ll introduce you to the women we’re helping! The ripples through their lives and through their families lives will spread to generations.
With just $5 a month, you can make a huge difference as a Bregdan Woman!
In addition, I’m giving you a PDF version of I Am A Bregdan Woman - a 255 page book written just for YOU.
I can’t wait for you to read tomorrow’s letter about Shalini. I can’t fathom what I would do if I found myself in her situation, but I can tell you what SHE did!
Have a fabulous day!
Ginny

So many great ideas on how to help and support women, especially those in countries where they will not be heard by the people in charge. This is wonderful.
Thank you,
