Letter 17 - Remember...Remember...Remember
I have a video for you to watch today. No matter where you live in the world, there are people who have sacrificed their lives to give you the life you live today.
Today, May 25, 2026 is Memorial Day in the United States of America.
I wrote this Memorial Day Tribute in 2008. It was created and narrated by my special friend, Gary Goodspeed.
The technology is not fancy, but the words still pierce my heart!
This movie was created to honor the men and women who have fought to keep our country safe and free. It represents those who came home from war and those who died on the battlefield so that we could have the freedoms we cherish today. Please remember the members of your family and your friends who have served gallantly.
In the U.S.A., Americans are celebrating this weekend as the beginning of summer… a time to gather with friends and family for cookouts.
I encourage you to not forget that the reason you are able to celebrate is because of the price that has been paid for your freedom!
Truly, no matter where in the world you are reading this from, there are people who have given their lives in sacrifice. They deserve to be remembered and honored.
Their lives have created ripples throughout history - helping to create the life you live today.

Thank you for the remembrance today of our fallen heroes. My Dad & Uncle were my heroes growing up. My Dad was a POW in Germany & my Mother's brother the only blood Uncle I had lost both legs in World War II. I always pay tribute to them and those who gave the supreme sacrifice so we may have the freedoms that we have everyday in this great country.
